Christopher Reed has been singing, playing guitar and writing poems and songs for over 50 years. He has always had a love of the lyric in telling stories, capturing emotions.
In the second half of the 1960s he performed at a variety of folk clubs and coffee lounges in Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Michigan US and Wellington NZ. Like many musicians, he augmented his income with a day job and then unexpectedly the day job became centre stage. Through this time of building a business career and a family, music remains the central force through his life.
Now retired from that distracting day job, Christopher has refocussed on his music with the release of an EP of seven songs – four of his own and three by singer/songwriter influencers Kris Kristofferson, John Prine and Ann Reed.
He has made his home in Melbourne, and moves between Melbourne, Wagga Wagga and Europe, as Covid-19 permits, performing at small venues.
